This same top grain leather helps mold the Rawlings baseball glove to the player's hand and gives the proper feel and sensitivity needed for top leave play. Through the leather selection process only the top 5% of the hides qualify for Heart of the Hide Leather. The finest baseball players in the game use this leather.
